Other Info - Final Task

Other Info:

Schedule:

1/27/25 - 1/31/25

We will be deciding on a final plan for our film production and creating a storyboard that outlines the scenes for our final task.

2/1/25 - 2/3/25

We will be calling at night throughout the week to discuss how we can improve our story plot development by very detail-oriented aspects.

2/5/25 - 2/10/25

We will be meeting at the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park to film our first introduction scene.

We will then be meeting in an investigation room location which can be at one of our houses that can be transformed into the setting of an investigation room.

2/11/25 - 2/16/25

Finding an accurate editing software and start putting the clips together from the week of filming. Adding all the elements in the film making it complete such a fluency between the scenes, the background music and sound effects, titles, and more.

2/17/25 - 2/24/25

Dedicate a week to any needed reshooting for any specific scenes that could have been enhanced, not to our liking, can fit better within the film, or any other logical reason to reshoot them.

2/25/25 - 3/5/25

We will collectively revise the entire film and add our final touches to it, getting the most out of our film for our audience.

We will also be having our peers, family members, friends and others view our film and give us feedback on how it may be better and implement it to our film.

Locations:

Our main location will be the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, located in Fort Lauderdale Florida. We will film at the entrance and inside the park.

Our second location will be a bedroom inside one of the members' houses or at a friend's house.

Health and Safety:

For everyone's safety, both of our parents have volunteered as a “safety patrol”, by having access to emergency contacts, having a first aid kit, and supervising our group in the filming and editing process. For the scene where the innocent girl is running inside the park, there are some chances of some cars driving by her, so we will make sure to start filming when there are no cars around. For the scene where the innocent girl is being “kidnapped” and “mistreated”, it will be acted out with no harm will be done; a first aid kit will be ready in case of any sort of emergency.

Backup plan:

Our main location is an outdoor place, where weather could be an issue. This is the main reason why we decided to film before the due date. This way if it is raining, we can just move the filming to another day because it is important to be able to film in a park where the main character can be “free” to then be abducted. In the extreme case where it's raining every filming day, we will have to go to an indoor location such as a mall, where the main character can be minding her own business as expected.
