Group Blog - Commercial

Hello, as stated before, I am Francesco Corrales. During the past 2 days I have decided who my group will be for my commercial project. For this project I will only be working with another person, this person is Salome Baron. I have chosen to do this project with her because I think that we will work well together. I have known Salome for almost three years now. I met Salome back in 8th grade when she transferred to my school which is Sunrise Middle School. In 9th grade, we became even closer friends since we coincidentally had 2 classes in common. This led to us collaborating and working more often with each other for classes. Over the summer we kept in good contact and communication. However, unfortunately me and Salome did not get any classes together this year. Disregarding the fact that we got unlucky and we don't have any classes together this year, we still get along well with each other and keep in good touch. This led us to the idea that we should collaborate in projects that we could in since we share similar classes. AICE Media Studies has luckily given us the opportunity to work together even though we do not have any class periods together. AICE Media Studies is a very unique class since it has given me the opportunity to work with a friend from a different class period, for the same class subject. I personally prefer to work in projects and work for school by myself. However, me and Salome have similar studying and work ethics. This makes us a good match to work together for a project. Another factor that contributes into making me and Salome a good group to work together is our location and schedule. Salome and I live fairly close from each other, making it very easy to coordinate a place to meet up to work together for our commercial project. As well, we have a similar schedule where we can usually only meet up during the weekends since we are both busy after school, which would better help us in coordinating a day to work on this project. Overall, there are many factors that make me and Salome a good fit for working together, and I am looking forward to creating this commercial project.

Other Info: Schedule: 1/27/25 - 1/31/25   We will be deciding on a final plan for our film production and creating a storyboard that outlines the scenes for our final task.     2/1/25 - 2/ 3 /25   We wil l be calling at night throughout the week to discuss how we can improve our story plot development by very detail-oriented aspects.   2/ 5 /25 - 2/ 10 /25   We will be meeting at the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park to film our first introduction scene .     We will then be meeting in an investigation room location which can be at one of our houses that can be transformed into the setting of an investigation room.   2/ 11 /25 - 2/16/25   Finding an accurate editing software and start putting the clips together from the week of filming.
