Planning Blog - Commercial

Props 

My partner and I have concluded our commercial to be on the sports drink Más+. Therefore, one of our main props will be a Más+ sports drink bottle. Some other props that may be seen will be related to sports/athleticism and primarily soccer related props. 

 

Costumes 

In the commercial, there will be one or two main characters being filmed. The actors will wear appropriate costumes that will best fit this film. This would be types of sports gear or sports clothing. We will wear a type of sports shirt, and either with running shorts or leggings and optionally a sports jacket if necessary. We will wear sports shoes and potentially even a hat. 

 

Schedule 

On 09/08/24, our group decided on the product (Más+) that we will be using in the commercial. 

On 09/14/24, our group will have finalized the costumes, schedules, props, location list, backup plan, and more for our Más+ commercial. 

On 09/19/24, our group will create a storyboard to assist us in our Más+ commercial. 

On 09/20-29/24, our group will spend time after school on weekdays if possible and mostly on the weekends filming our commercial either at Holiday Park, or in an indoor soccer field. 

On 9/30/24, our group will have finished filming for our commercial, and we will be editing it and finalizing it to make it as perfect as possible. 

 

Location 

The location and area that we will be mainly using for our commercial is a soccer field. Our best option in choosing where to film would be in the Holiday Park soccer field where it is both convenient and close for both me and my partner. This will provide the sports drink Más+ as an essential factor for athletes in providing hydration and electrolytes. The main actors on the soccer field will be playing with soccer balls, scoring goals, and more. 

 

Back Up Plan 

If during our filming period there is bad weather, then we have an alternative idea. We will instead utilize a nearby and indoor soccer field where we can film our commercial, without any issues regarding weather conditions. The process of our commercial will still be with actors playing football and as well exercising. If an actor is absent, we will use another group member as the primary character and have an alternative cameraman.
