Production Blog: Overcoming Obstacles Before Filming - Music Video

Hello everyone again, I am excited to tell you how I have advanced in my music video process . So, I am going to be discussing issues that I had to overcome with my group before we were allowed to start filming. Due to a plethora of inconveniences that occurred, this led to obstacles that I had to overcome. Last weekend I met up with my group to start filming again. However, beforehand we had a long complication of when we could all meet up. My group preferred to meet up on Saturday since it worked better for everyone. However, due to a family event I had, I couldn’t meet up with my group until Sunday which caused a bit of complications for my group. My group in the end was able to thankfully meet up the day that I was available as well. Last minute I was notified that I could meet up on Saturday to film, however it was too late to let me friends know, so we e nded up agreeing on Sunday. Production Blog: First Step to our Film! - Music Video

Hello once again, so now I had an idea of how our film was going to be. Therefore, I had decided to coordinate to meet up with my group to start our process in filming. So on a weekend when all of us were available, me and my group met up at one of our group members house. Once we got there, we had a bunch of new ideas that we had for our film. At first, we were all collectively bringing ideas to our film regarding as well the storyboard. We had ideas left and right that all of us contributed that was a crucial part in the formation of our film. We had group members alternating on drawing out our ideas on our storyboard. One important event that occurred was that I realized with my group that in our film we wanted to have a sign showing the location. Props -   One prop is a suitcase , which the new teenager will roll in when entering the new town . Another prop that could be used in a scene is a basketbal l . Another prop is a picture frame of old friends. Other possible props can include bikes, a dog leash , pillows, blankets, and lastly a phone.   Costumes -   In our music video there are four central characters. Our act o rs will wear typical trendy teenager clothing throughout the vid eo. In the first scene, the new teenager will wear com fortable clothing, as he or she was traveling. The friend group will be seen wearing athletic wear at the beginning of the music video as they are playing a sport. Th roughout the video the c ostumes will change based on the locations and actions of the characters.
