Production Blog: Effective Filming! - Music Video

 Hello again, I began the process of filming the music video with my group. We had coordinated to meet at one of my group members house. I got there and had to go through some coordination obstacles along the way with my group beforehand. However, it all worked out since I was able to meet with my group to film. Once I was fully with my group members, we started deciding what I would do first with my group. Since I was filming with my group in the late afternoon, my group decided to start filming with the outdoor scenes. This is because we needed sunlight within our film, and not complete darkness, whereas we can film the indoor scenes even when its dark out. Our first scene we did was where the friends and the new friend would bike together. My group originally had planned for all of the friends to bike together, and show the new friend being left behind. However, my group didn’t have enough bikes, so we had to improvise. We went to my friends neighbors house and got an extra bike that they had. From there, we hurried back to my group members house before sunset. I quickly got ready to film this scene with my group. This however took a few tries but we finally got it. Then me and my group continued doing the rest of the outdoor scenes and finished right before it became dark out. I went into my group members house with my group and started filming more scenes. These scenes that I started filming was going to be the montage that would appear within our music video. This montage would show the friends slowly including the new friend more and more. These indoor filmed scenes with my group included baking and playing a board game. Once I finished filming those scenes, I realized with my group that my group still needed to film a scene or two outdoors. These scenes included either the friends playing volleyball together or soccer within the montage. This led to a dilemma that we had to resolve and a new filming process I had to do later with my group. This is one of my filming processes that I went through to finish our film of a music video.
