Costumes: Normal everyday clothing that can emphasize the establishment of the setting. Costumes can also contribute to the character's personality and even development as a character. 

Lighting: The lighting tends to be bright with an even distribution of light, creating a joyful and playful atmosphere. 

Acting: The actors in films are sarcastic and sometimes even a little awkward unintentionally in the film, making it intentionally humorous to the audience. 

Makeup: The makeup may vary with characters’ makeup style may fit their personality, however they sometimes are exaggerated or even bright, to create a humorous style. 

Props: Hand props, set props, and costume props are all types of props that may be used. 

Set: The setting of a humorous film usually is in an individual's everyday environment. 

Common Editing: Fade in, Fade Out, Split Screen, Cross Cutting, and Insert 

Common Sounds: Diegetic sound, non-diegetic sound, dialogue, voiceover, and ambient sound 

Film examples: Elf, School of Rock, The Truman Show, Minions 

Elements I like: Some elements that I like are that it is humorous to the audience, making them joyful, the flexibility of the setting of where the movie may take place, along with the costumes of everyday clothing people wear. 

Elements I do not like: Some elements that I do not like are the acting, in which it may be harder for some actors than others to be able to create an awkward or sarcastic mood, as well the makeup that has to sometimes be exaggerated.
