What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?  

For angles and shots, it had low angles, high angles, POV and close up shot. For makeup and props, it had neutral make up, casual attire and dark tones. For lighting and sound, it had low lighting, ambient sounds and dialogue. The actors were creepy and showed stress. 

What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked?  

The movie had a lot of high angles, showing the power of the characters and a different perspective. The movie also allowed the silence to speak for itself and let the viewers imagine what the main character was thinking and why he acted the way he did. This is interesting because each viewer will have a different idea and POV.

What conventions of the genre did the movie have that did not appeal to you and you are thinking of not filming for your final task?  

I did not like that it was only one setting, the platform. The whole movie was inside a building, which reduced attention and engagement. For my final task, I want to have different settings and film in different areas, so viewers are more engaged, and it shows more changes.
