Pitch A: A girl is getting chased down by an anonymous individual in a forest leading to a suspenseful event.

Pitch B: An innocent girl is minding her business and then kidnapped, later interrogated for her potential shocking of criminal activity.

Discuss Pitch A: This idea had good feedback because it has thriller and terror. The idea is that through the film the viewer gets more information on why the girl was being chased down and what happens to her. This film idea must be filmed in an outdoor location, making it difficult for us to plan the filming part. Even if this could make the filming process longer, I am interested in filming a video that has nature, action, and tension, and makes the viewer wonder about the overall idea of the main character. This pitch will allow me and my group partner to be important characters in the film. The purpose of this film is to show the perspective and emotions of the main character, to make the viewer think of alternatives for what may occur next, and to provide a situation that could potentially happen in real life.

Discuss Pitch B: This idea is an outdoor location which will make the film better since it sets a more realistic setting. As well this makes it where it adds more flexibility and where more possibilities may happen in the film. The idea of the character being kidnapped really sets the mood of what mysteriously may happen next in the film and create suspense to the audience. Also, the start of the film includes an innocent girl and leads to an accusation of being a criminal, which leads to a shocking state for the viewers of what may be the reality of this innocent girl. A potential dilemma is that the topics we may discuss may be sensitive to some viewers since it will include kidnapping and criminal activity. However, this film's idea and aspects can contribute to creating a unique film that will make the audience want to continue watching since it's not the normal typical movie where it introduces an innocent girl that someone may watch.

Our final decision: Because we needed more action and more suspense added to our story plot to make the viewers want to continue watching, we decided to go with Pitch B.

Other Info: Schedule: 1/27/25 - 1/31/25   We will be deciding on a final plan for our film production and creating a storyboard that outlines the scenes for our final task.     2/1/25 - 2/ 3 /25   We wil l be calling at night throughout the week to discuss how we can improve our story plot development by very detail-oriented aspects.   2/ 5 /25 - 2/ 10 /25   We will be meeting at the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park to film our first introduction scene .     We will then be meeting in an investigation room location which can be at one of our houses that can be transformed into the setting of an investigation room.   2/ 11 /25 - 2/16/25   Finding an accurate editing software and start putting the clips together from the week of filming.
