Production Blog: Continuation of Filming - Final Task
Hello again, I got a lot of filming done in progress for my film. Today, I had a swimming competition that was only supposed to last in the morning. However, if I didn’t get the time, I needed to get in my event throughout the first try, I would need to stay even longer at the competition. I wanted to avoid this so I could film with Salome as early as possible. Luckily, I didn’t have to stay extra time. I quickly went home, ate breakfast, and got ready to go film with Salome. My brother was supposed to take me; however, he didn’t feel well today. So, Salome picked me up from my house. To enter the Hugh Taylor State Birch Park, I needed to pay a $6 fee for the vehicle. I had completely forgotten about this at the time. However, luckily, I had my wallet with me, and I had enough to pay this $6 fee. When I first got there, me and Salome were trying to find a parking spot for her vehicle. Once we found the parking spot, me and Salome both walked over to the location we had agreed on filming in. I was the one filming for most of the scenes. This is because Salome was the one mainly focused on in the first few scenes. I had to re-film a bunch of times with Salome for certain scenes to make them the best they can be. Also, during my filming experience, me and Salome had a lot of delays. This is because this park is a popular place for people to come and visit. This caused bicyclists, pedestrians, and mobile vehicles to pass by us when I was trying to film Salome. For the most part, however, I was able to film most of the scenes with no problem. However, when I wanted to film the following scenes with Salome following the story plot, there was a dilemma. This dilemma was due to a small change in my plans that caused a huge domino effect on the production of the final task. Me and Salome after a couple of hours of filming went back to her car to take a break from filming, as well as brainstorm some ideas to be resourceful and resolve this issue.
