Production Blog: The Last Step to Filming! - Final Task

Hello everyone, once again, I’m back to filming. I have already filmed the outside scenes for my final task with Salome. This was a success, and I was able to recreate a lot of scenes in the way I had envisioned it. Today, Salome went over to my house to film the rest of the scenes. These scenes included the investigation scenes where Francesco investigates Salome to see if she's hiding who she says she is. So, me and Salome were arranging a time where she can come over to my house. However, I couldn’t film right after school, because I had swimming practice, which meant I had to film with Salome after I got back. This led to Salome arriving at my house at around seven at night. The reason why we are doing it in my house is because firstly, it had to be in an indoors area where I can freely film with Salome. However, usually an interrogation room or scenery is like an office. Luckily, I have a room in my house where it is a work office, which allowed it to fit the scenery of what I was envisioning for my film. Me and Salome were both going to be characters in the film for the investigation scenes, which led to the question of who was going to film us. Well, my brother was the person who was filming these scenes. There are multiple reasons for why we chose him. Firstly, he is someone that would happily help me and Salome in this. As well he already has a high level of expertise in this field from taking AICE Media Studies already. Not only was my brother able to help us film these scenes, but he was able to give me helpful input. He would give me and Salome advice on how we could slightly change the scenes, camera angles, or even small details that can really enhance the film. Me and Salome were filming in the office for about a couple of hours. Some of the scenes took a few tries to film while some of the other scenes took only once or twice to film. Once I finished filming the rest of the scenes of the film with Salome, she left and agreed with me that she and I would soon be editing and putting together the scenes that were filmed. I am very happy to say that I have made a huge progression in the process of preparing, filming, and executing my final task.
